Identification: Cannabis like plant

    hi, anyone here that can tell me the name of this plant and if i can take a cutting from it and how do i do it?

    Looks like Schefflera elegantissima (syn. Dizygotheca elegantissima), False Aralia.

    can i cut it so that my friend can have one to? and how do i do it in case i can?
    i'm not really good with plants, slowly learning hehe.

    Propagation by air-layering or cuttings is possible. You should have no problem finding instructions on these two methods.

    The plant's current name is Schefflera elegantissima; Dizygotheca elegantissima is a synonym of that.

    Equally, Schefflera as currently circumscribed is known to be a paraphyletic grouping; the genus is just waiting for someone to do a full analysis of everything included in it. I'd not be surprised if this one gets returned to Dizygotheca in the future.
