Someone bought this maple from an ebayer that i was interested in...He bought an oridono nishiki and this is what he got..It is obviously not Oridono nishiki or even close....so what is it? He is actually happy with this tree and left feedback of 5 foot tree..so i bought one then emailed him to possibly see a pic....What i saw was a 5 foot twig! Now i don't even know if i will get the correct twig!

I'm not sure if that is the medium it came with or he potted it ...but doubt it will survive in that medium! It looks like it is drowning the other maple in the pic already!

I should have bought this one instead...it was a toss up but figured i'd try houseofmaples.

It will probably take a week to get here but i'll keep you guys posted.

So far the only really healthy thriving trees on ebay are eastfork and a new female seller pagesnursery! Yes some of the 1 year graft sellers are healthy trees but i'm talking about 1 gallon or bigger.

Think it may make a difference if the scion wood used is well variegated or not.
