Please help. Anyone know what this is? It wasn't labeled and no one could identify it. I put my 20lb schnauzer next to it for scale. Please let me know if you have any idea?

Might be Polyscias scutellaria, Shield Aralia.

Help with my Polyscias scutellaria (Shield Aralia)

I bought a new plant today (thank you Junglekeeper for helping me identify it as a Polyscias scutellaria, or Shield Aralia). When I purchased it no one could tell me what it was, let alone how to care for it. However, now that it has been identified, I can't find consistent information on how to keep it healthy. We are keeping it in the hallway outside of our apartment--we live on the second floor of a 3 unit building in Boston. It is inside and does not receive sunlight. It is, however, under white light. We watered it today but are not sure how often we should do so. We would also like to know what temperature it thrives in. Please help if you can. I'd really appreciate it.
