Calla/Arum Lily

    Hi Everyone!I would just like to ask if I can be able to grow Calla or Arum Lilies here in the Philippines?

    I can grow them here in Ecuador, so you should have no problem at all. I assume you're talking about Zantedeschia spp, and not Calla spp or Arum spp, but they will all grow for you - they're tropical plants.

    Actually as it says at your links Calla is a temperate genus and the greatest number of Arum species are from the Mediterranean. But as you said we're probably talking about Zantedeschia anyway.

    I sit corrected. However I have not yet found an Aroid I can't grow here in the Tropics.

    Just a note. The plant being discussed is an aroid. This thread should be moved to the forum on Araceae (aroids)

    Thank you so much for your help guys! I am so amazed by the beauty of calla/arum lily. especially the colored ones. I just have to figure out where to get them.
