I am looking for a time table of what needs doing and when in the garden. My strata is looking for a new gardener and we need to have a list of the work we want done each month. Please can anyone help me? Sonja
Sonja Check out the BC Landscape & Nursery Association website. The BCLNA and the BC Society of Landscape Architects jointly prepared the BC Landscape Standards. The BC Landscape Standards are used by designers and landscapers to install and maintain landscapes. Private contracts and municpal contracts also use this document. I don't have a copy of the BC Landscape Standards with me at the moment but I believe theres'a a calendar of monthly tasks, it describes maintenance standards. Hopefully the maintenance crew that your strata hires will be Certified Horticulturalists. You could also check out GardenWise magazine (by the BCLNA).
