    Hello everyone,

First post here so I hope I do everything right the first time. I bought a small cactus around a month ago, I think it's a Fairy Castle (if that's what they're called) and I love it. Recently I have seen some white patches develop on the outside, along with two small brown ones. I'll add some pictures in the end of the post. I'm worried that I'm not giving my little cactus the care it deserves, so I was hoping I could get some help with this.

    Thanks all.

The white patches look like scars or possibly corking, nothing lethal. The brown spots: not sure. I have seen that before but they almost never spread far, they are just unsightly. Keep an eye on them, if they spread and start to look like rot it is time to use a knife.
