I recently visited a very old semi-asian style garden that had been left to go wild for years but is now being slowly restored to it's former glory. Kind of creepy in a way, but absolutely fascinating. Huge rhodies and gunnera and a pond full of enormous carp that have somehow survived years of neglect. I really liked the design of this bridge... it was amazingly sturdy and (apart from the deck and gates) built from salvaged lumber pruned from the garden.
