http://xrl.us/pb24 http://www.durgan.org/23%20July%202006%20Blueberries/HTML/ Today blueberries were picked about 25 km south of Brantford, ON. The bushes were loaded with fruit. The soil is sandy and I noticed there was facilities for irrigation. The second picture in the series shows wild blueberries for comparison, that I saw last week 17 July 2006 in Northern Ontario near Elliot Lake. It would be informative if some-one with a camera would take some pictures of the different blueberies that are grown in Richmond, BC. The berries are picked by tapping the branch over a stretcher, not individual picking as is required with the Ontario variety. Durgan.
