I'd like to try growing blueberries and have a couple of questions. I have an area about 6' by 8' in mostly sun. Would it be best to plant two or four plants? When getting two different types, should they both be the same season, like both early or both mid-season? I may be able to get some free plants from a friend, do blueberries transplant well?
I'd plant four - positioning them so that all recieve sun. I would get four different varieties with a mix of ripening times to extend your season. I have had success transplanting smaller blueberry bushes.
