    Hi There -

I had a new cedar hedge put in at my home back in early March in Vancouver. The hedge is about 6 feet high and consists of 50 trees. They all look very healthy however when I looked at them today a few trees were showing black leaves near the bottom of the tree. The leaves look healthy otherwise and there are very few but I wanted to see if anyone knew what might be causing the black leaves.

    Your response is appreciated.

    Shawn
