Black Galingale and rare herbs

    In this photo, there are 3 kinds of herbs: Left- Black Galingale; Middle- I call it the poison killer(I do not know the name, but the use);Right- Good luck plant or plant of heart(its leaf looks like the heart, ref. to 2nd picture). Need more research to find the name and their effectiveness.

    Don't know about the "black" but galingale I would expect to be Thai ginger (Alpinia galanga).

    Ron, Galanga is hot and used for food and the same as galingale (white) which people like to add to their soup but black galingale is used as herbal medecine and very good for health too, inside the rizhome, we will see the dark purple if cut. When we add the water to the ground-dried black galingale, we will get pink color. Black Galingale (Kaempferia parviflora)
