Identification: black clumps under bird feeder

    Hi
    I noticed black hairy clumps growing in my backyard under birdfeeders. Its spring, raining a lot, and the are does not get much sun.
    Can someone help with what was the conclusion back in 2014 in this thread??

    Please help.
