    Hi Everyone,

I am thinking about digging up my Crimson Queen from the ground to put into a container so I can take it with me when I move. When is the best time to do it? I am located in the San Francisco Bay Area in California. The leaves are all dried up and most of them have fallen.

The Crimson Queen was planted there 2 season ago from a 5 gallon sized container.

Thanks in advance for your replies and assistance.

When there are no live leaves on it.

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for the reply. I will wait until all the leaves have fallen off just in case. So far, the leaves are all dried up but waiting until January won't hurt, just in case.

    Thanks again!
