best food plants for growing

  1. I'm just curious...
what would some folks consider the easiest to care and highest producing fruits, veggies or spices for a greehouse with temps at 19-25 celcius and light from all sides?

I believe the answers to this question may vary due to personal opnions. I find Meyer lemon trees easy to grow and they produce a nice size crop.

I think some of the highest producing greenhouse food crops might be tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. They are the grown commercially in greenhouses, because they produce well. Although the great demand for the crops may be more the reason for that choice.

Green beans for vegetable: low maintenance; high production; no cost to replant next season if you set aside some for seed.
Citrus for fruit: nice foliage; fragrant blooms; tasty fruit.

But the best crops are, of course, the ones which you like to eat!
