So I got a cheap peace lily from a grocery store. It's my second houseplant ever (the first being the Ikea dragon tree I got a day earlier). I would like to get started on this the right way by not killing off these things. The dragon tree is looking healthy, but the peace lily has some black/brown spots. Reading through the Exotic Rainforest guide on Caring for Spathiphyllum, it seems that this might be because of over-watering. Is that right? Is it anything for me to be concerned about?
Sounds like it could be mate. Is there a saucer or something under your pot? The link to Steves site seems to be broken to me :(
