Anyone grow any unusual Bauhinias? I planted 2 trees in my greenhouse years ago to use to mount other things on, but also collected some really cool ones. They can stay outside in spring, summer and fall but I winter them in my greenhouse. This one is my favorite right now...Bauhinia madagascariensis. Flower only lasts one day, like a hibiscus
I am also growing a Bauhinia grandidieri but in 15 years have never gotten it to bloom. Is any else growing that one, and have you bloomed it??
