I poted herbs this year again.
I am in Toronto Zone 5.
    My basil is still growing.
Will it last for the winter if I was to bring it indoor?
Or is it only a seasonal plant?

Also my rosemary. Can I actually put rosemary in the ground? Would it survive in my zone?
I had never look with it.

    Anyone who could advise me?

Basil can be gown indoors but it needs excessively high levels of light (ie. full sun), seldom found inside. Try it in the brightest spot you have and expect it to be a weak leggy plant...you won't be making pesto with it!

The rosemary, if protected with loads of snow, a rosehat, etc., may survive the winter. The hardiest rosemary are good to around -18ºC but winter conditions play a big role as well (drainage, wet soil, wind, etc.). If you grow it inside, it needs a cool ~10ºC & sunny spot.
