Can anyone help with some advice re: insulating a Banana tree(with this cold snap Im concerned) I have it wrapped with burlap. I have also wrapped the windmill with burlap( am I doing the right thing and if not what should I do?)
Japanese banana should be hardy with ordinary mulch if up to size and not a small, new one. These have been grown in Vancouver for a long time. Likewise windmill palm. Most other bananas will require protection.
