    Good morning Margot, I totally agree with your comment about having 'our fair share'. This is also a world wide problem that is often man made by collectors of exotic creatures of all kinds, for their private collections and then some escape causing havoc to the new areas they find themselves in.
    I was very much involved in the monitoring of this and was very surprised initially when I first saw what was smuggled and how much into our country. To see what was packed into the strangest containers, 'you had to see it to believe it'.
    It is a lucrative industry without any thought of the impact on biodiversity. It is going to be very long battle.
