I have two 10' to 20' high asimina triloba trees that have began to create a colony of clone suckers all around themselves . I realize this is probably more of a preference issue than anything else , but is it better to : 1) eliminate the clones or 2) allow them to form a group / colony of pawpaws ???
The one large asimina has at least 10 suckers sprouting 5' to 6' away from the base . Thanks in advance for the feedback .

I'd get rid of them myself, unless you really want all of them, but they do take energy from the main tree as well as become a huge nuisance.
