I was wondering if anyone knows if Asimina triloba can be grown in containers. I know they have tap roots and this could be a problem in a container. Has anyone tried to grow them in containers?

The containers I have the plants in are about two and a half to three feet high and about the same wide.

    I would appreciate any info.

    Thanks

They should be able to be grown in containers as long as they are fairly deep. We raise them for sale in containers, though they will never get as large as in the ground.

Thanks for the reply. Which varieties do well on the west coast? I have NC-1, Wells, Wilson and Pennsylvania Golden.
