Hard to say without more details. What species, and what sort of chilling does it need? And is the plant small enough to put in a domestic fridge for a month or two?

Most temperate plants will get by with a month or two at 2°C, even if they are adapted to cope with lengthy winter freezing.

For warm temperate to subtropical species, a month or two at around 10°C will be adequate.

This plant is a goji plant and it only needs a couple weeks of chill hours and it needs to be below 30 degrees F. if i were to put this plant in the fridge, would i need to put a plant light in the fridge or does it matter. i know that it will lose its leaves so it seems that it wouldnt need light but i would think it is natural to give it light anyways, so should i?

Goji = Lycium barbarum. When leafless, it shouldn't need any light.

No idea what "30 degrees F" means, but chilling at 2°C will be adequate.

    30 F is the same as -1.1C.
