I decided to try growing artichoke from seed this year - didn't sound too difficult but they had to be started early - so I purchased some seeds online. They were supposed to be Globe and 20 seeds cost about $5. Germination wasn't so good and I only ended up with one health plant that is now about 30cm tall. I have grown artichoke several times in the past but this plant doesn't look like a Globe (which I ended up buy a plant at Gardenworks for about $20). Can anyone identify what I have grown? globe artichoke from Gardenworks seed-grown (germinated March 2022)
