are musa basoo fruits edible?

    im planning to plant a few musa basjoo in my backyard in NW indiana z6a/5b. i know these plants fruit, but i have a few questions.

    How tall can it grow in one season here?
    Are the fruits edible?
    what do the fruits taste like?
    what should i fertilize it with?

    if you can answer any of these it would be greatly appreciated!!!

    1. My M. basjoo grows from freeze back (ground level) to about 15 feet each year.
    2. The fruit is not edible.
    3. Never tasted the fruit. After inspecting one, you'll know why.
    4. These basjoo like fish emulsion/fertilizer.
