I have an arbutus tree that appears to be dying off. Is there anything I can do to save the tree? Should I cut off the dead/dying sections? Pictures are from the spring and the tree is a little more “dead”. Thanks.
It's a blight, but it is not necessarily fatal--and may only be affecting the tree significantly this year. Have a read through this article from The Land Conservancy: Vancouver Island Arbutus Stress and Decline
