A wreckless driver has run over my 15' pink cornus florida and a 10' rhododendron.
I've been told that I need to get an arborologist's report to ascertain the value but I can't find 1 in the Vancouver area.
Can anyone suggest where I may find 1?

    Thanks!

Look up arborist, and try to find one that is ISA-certified (link goes to ISA web site, where there is a "find a tree care service" database)

Try a search for an arborist or "tree service".

If it's for ICBC, they won't pay the professional for the report. You will have to pay for it and then fight with ICBC to be reimbursed.
I'm in Port Coquitlam and gave up doing vehicle damage estimates for ICBC years ago.

Look on the I.S.A. website for some-one closer to you who might want to do a favor. Good Luck.

    Thank you.
Yes I have gotten nowhere with icbc and now have to sue the driver.
Why did you give up doing those reports?
Low success rate or few people willing to shell out of their own pocket perhaps?
Wondering if you are an ISA arborist or an arborologist and what the difference is?
What can I expect to pay for one of these reports?
I have before and after photos and my BC property assessment as a result of the destruction of my yard is $49,000 less than before.
Any other advice you'd care to give would be greatly appreciated.
