    Hi,

Bought a house with an apple tree and trimmed it back this winter. Neighbor said it hadn't produced in years. We had a bumper crop of granny smiths, but in the last week all of the apples have dies, the tree itself looks otherwise healthy. Any suggestions to keep this from happening next year?

    Hey
I have apples myself I live in Washington state so I know a little about apples. Is there any leave damage? and when did you last spray your trees? There is a worm out there that cause quite a bit of damage if not controled, there is also no pesticide for it either. Thats why ask about the leaves. If your leaves look brown and curled take off the whole branch. Make sure to spray every three weeks. until harvest. prune in early spring not winter. Of course your winters maybe warmer then ours so I guess that depends. I do know the last time I was in Ohio I was darn cold. good Luck with your apples.

I last sprayed a week ago and everything looked healthy. The leaves are still green, but all, all of my apples are dead. I watched the tree and never really saw any bugs, that is why I am thinking there might be something wrond w/ the tree.

    Thanks, Tim
