I believe I have a Gala Apple Tree. Last year the fruit is fine. This summer 2012 the fruit encounter some sort of bug or disease. some type of bug or worm penetrating every apple. No bug just hole and black stuff left on the apple core. Please take a look at the picture and recommend a solution. I've tried Organocide from Home Depot but no help.

    Thanks for your feedback

The damage you describe is most likely from Codling Moth larvae, which tend to burrow along the core of the apple. Apple Maggot damage is usually spread through the whole apple. Spraying for either of these pests has to be timed just right or it will be ineffective. There is plenty of information about control methods on the Internet.
