my wife and i was talking to our neighbor today and she ask him the best way and time to prune our pear tree.. he laughed and said you mean apple tree.. she said no pear tree.. we started looking at the tree and behold it has both apples and pears on it.. is this possible? Tom
Can you tell if it's been grafted? There are some varieties of apple that are compatible with pear. I know that people successfully graft pears onto Winter Banana (apple). Are you sure they are pears? Some apple varieties are somewhat pear shaped.
