I'm trying to figure out what this plant is so that I can keep it from dying. The guy I bought it from said to keep it in low light, but the leaves have been dropping off. I've put it in a place where it gets some sun through my window, but I still don't know what it is or what it wants from me. I water my plants every day as well, regardless of what they are, and it seems to work out for all of them. Maybe this plant is an exception though? It's so neat and purple, I don't want to kill it before I find the right conditions for it.

Anyone seen this thing before? All of the leaves are weirdly vibrant deep purple with almost black around the edges.

    Thanks!
