    Hey all,

I acquired the following tree when we bought the current house. After wandering the nursery the other day I thought to myself - there's that mystery tree while I was looking at a Toyama nishiki.

According to World Plants, "One of the few variegated laceleafs, sporting purple, pink, white, and green in various combinations.... In fall, the tree turns uniformly gold." My tree turned a fuschia like color last fall - a very pinkish purple. So not Toyama nishiki. What other variegated laceleafs are out there?

Pics below taken in spring, spring, spring, and fall.

My best guess would be Acer Palmatum Dr Baker. Thats a tough one.
