Hi I was wondering if anyone could help with a problem I'm having. I recently bought an Aloe plant about 10" high and it seemed healthy enough. Since it's been in the house though, the leaves of the plant have fallen/spread out nearly flat. It is in a light, woody mixture and I have been watering sparingly (it is in front of a bright window with light coming through a net curtain). The leaves aren't limp so don't appear to have fallen due to their own weight - any ideas?
I don't know if you really have a problem there. As the plant ages, new leaves come from the middle and work their way to the outside. Eventually the leaves at the outside/bottom die. So, is it likely that the leaves at have fallen flat are actually being pushed out by the newer leaves inside? M.
Thanks for that, I thought the leaves were supposed to be upright so maybe I don't have a problem at all!
