I'm planting a perennial blue and yellow driveway garden. Structure plantings go in this weekend. Am I too late to consider alliums and agapanthus? For a Vancouver Island garden, which would make the more showy focal point? The garden is south facing with a canopy of a smoke bush and laburnum.
Oooh---smoke bush! I love 'em. Well, in my opinion, you can't beat giant alliums for visual impact. The bigger the better!
