Hello, I am trying depsarately to figure out what is wrong with my palm trees. I have 7 total outside, of three different types, and all are displaying the same type of problems and all started at the same time a few weeks ago. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Here is one of my palms. The leaves have brown spots, the tips are dying and there is a white, powdery type substance on them. I have two other, different types of palms with the same issues.
Hmm, scale problem maybe... Either way, I'd say find an insecticide taken up through the roots PDQ, as well as thorough reasonably high-pressure waterings of the leaves may be your best bet. Sorry to hear about this.
