I am growing three seedling silk trees in my Osoyoos, BC garden. They are thriving in our summer heat but I am doubting their winter hardiness. Does anyone know of this tree being sucessfully grown in the BC interior? I am aware of the tree in Kasugai garden in Kelowna and wonder if is still healthy. The only information I have dates back to 2017.
It should be hardy there given a suitable seed source from northern China or Korea, it gets cold in the winters there too.
