    I'm more curious about your growing that tree in Portugal... How cold does it get in winter? The tree needs very cold conditions for weeks in winter and I'm not sure you have them...

    Its my first chamaecyparis, but i think the cold its not a problem in winter temperatures are low in the North of Portugal 0º Clesius easy.
