Hi please forgive me as a new member but I cannot find any thing about stratification of acers on this forum I am looking for information to shorten the stratification period of acer seeds,,I realise that there is a built in , 'inhibitor" if that is the correct term in the seed From a USA foristry commision I learned that placing the seed in damp kitchen roll and putting in aluminium foil in th fridge shortens the 95% complete germination considerably which I am experimenting on along with other ideas at present. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated Best wishes Len
