Acer shirasawanum Sonya Marie

I received a few scions of Sonya Marie from another collector this past winter and was wondering if anyone had some info to the origin of this cultivar. It seems to have lime green foliage right now after leaf out. Thank you.

Introduced by Buchholz Nursery, it has slight white varigation on a yellow leaf. Needs special cultural techniques.
