Beautiful. And no, it's not on my wish list : my son finaly came today with a brushcutter and after turning my wild jungle in a (just) recovering garden told me "You really must get rid of some of yur trees,.." Er... ^_^
Surely it could be!!!!!! Lol I'm now at the stage of eye rolling from my children and grandchildren. That's a good sign, Yes !!!
My 'Johin' is turning green. That's the end of the lovely bronze until next Spring. But I enjoyed it this year (2020) whilst it lasted.
I know this is a 10 year old thread BRUMP....but is anyone growing this with afternoon sun ? I really love the various colors of Johin and OP has stated apparently what seems like full sun siting .
Good morning @mobiledynamics I've had Johin for several years and it gets Summer morning sun and afternoon till 4pm. It has a wonderful colour and especially in Spring. Here are a couple of photos I took of it leafing out a few minutes ago.
Anyone have any good fall color pictures of Johin? Such a lovely cultivar! I found one available in my town, hoping to convince my aunt to let me plant it at her house so I can observe it. Ha. :)
