    Very unusual location for Acer rubrum. This tree is at San Juan in Puerto Rico

    I didn't know they had plantations in China. It's sometimes called "Erable du Canada" here, though for most people "Erable du Canada" means Acer saccharum, because of the famous maple syrup.
    There's a couple in a park next to where I live :
