Acer pauciflorum and Acer pubipalmatum

i read some informations about this two(?) species some authors write are synonimus ,some different species .for pubipalmatum five or seven lobes?

"Flora of China 2008" lists Acer pubipalmatum as a synonym of A. pauciflorum, but in The Plant List 2013, it's listed as a different species.

leaves are a very different form (if i have maples with correct label from nursery)

 

i hope in the next symposium of The Maple Society this problem is present

 

I couldn't attend the 2017 symposium that was only between 500 km for the symposium itself, and the post-symposium, only 350 km away from where I live.

But if in a couple of years, when I retire, I hope that you will host this event so I can visit Italy again ;-)

 

i want to organize one maple symposium in Rome ,as soon as possible :-)
