This photo, taken April 24, 2007, shows the spring colors of my dissectum 'Red Autumn Lace,' which I've had for two years now. The tree is about 4 years old. Different shades of green typify the summer foliage with red/orange/bronze colors at the tips while the new leaves come out red/orange/bronze and then quickly change to a wide variety of greens over the summer. Mine is in considerable shade and therefore maintains a light palette of greens through late spring and summer. Fall colors go from green to yellow to orange to intense red. This cultivar was introduced by the Fratelli Gilardelli Nursery near Milan, Italy.
