Here is one of the more interesting dwarf. this Ibo juhi is about 4' tall and 4' wide. It has very nice color but it just does not gorow large enough for any grow to produce for the market.
Thank you for showing these less known cultivars. However it would be nice if you could provide additional information concerning origin and/or propagator. Gomero
I found a small amount of information on this cultivar on the web. It is a small-growing warty bark dwarf apparently originating from Oregon. Interesting! Acer palmatum 'Ibo juhi' at Buchholz & Buchholz Google translation of Japanese blog from Tsukasa Maples
maf thanks giving the info, sorry I am not a collector of such information Gomero. I have a hard enough time keeping up with pruning and repotting all of my trees let alone taking photos and posting them. I can say you can always go to my website and find the tree there and click on the name and it will link you to one of a couple growers website about a mentioned tree. In time I will also have a link to several photos of each tree I have in my collection.
This trees spring color is a dark reddish orange and leafs out early. I have added a tree as the color softens up.
