9th October 2020 and a bright start with a different view of a branch on my Coral magic.

 

@MapleMO have a look at the photos through the season on my Coral magic M. This is one of the reasons I was asked to do a photo diary of my trees, so that people can see them throughout the year.

Yes, this one already caught my eye when you posted the pictures, very nice! Esveld had one earlier this year but I couldn’t find it between the rows of plants so I let it be. I will keep my eye out for another one, thanks for the recommendation. have a great day!

 

Thanks you too M. Btw Coral magic is a dwarf so ideally suited to place in a more confined area. I'm Sure Esveld will have one soon.

 

28th April 2021 and my first posting of my Coral magic for this year, it was mentioned last night by a member on the Whats the weather like thread that everything around here is slow to leaf out this year, well the scientists have just announced it has been the coldest April in 60 years. So I think our maples have been very sensible staying enclosed in their buds.

So far ahead of mine D, but I'm hoping next week when the weather picks up I will have some more to show. What breed is your little helper BTW?

 

His breed is called American Bully. His name is Chunky. He is the last of my show dogs.

4th May 2021 and I wanted to post this today to show how very late so many maples are this year in leafing out. It is something that has been discussed on other threads this morning by new members.

 

I think a perfect caption for your picture would be 'Optimism'.

 

Definatly Margot. We all need that these days.

 

18th May 2021 and it has been a slow and difficult start to the season, but now the leaves are coming at last.

 

3rd June 2021 and after a few days of very hot sunny weather, this is my Coral magic first thing this morning.

 

19th June 2021 and my Coral Magic is definatly struggling this year. But sometimes they do this.

 

6th July 2021 and my Coral Magic that I moved in March is just showing signs of being happy.

 

2nd May 2022 and my first posting of my Coral Magic for this year. I do love this maple. It has struggled a bit during the Winter and early Spring, but today it came out to show how pretty a tree this is.

 

14th May 2022 and this little tree of mine is changing to so many shades, it's hard to keep up. Summer greens are on the way.

14th April 2024 and my Coral Magic recovering from a difficult couple of years due to the late Spring frosts of 22 and 23.
