21st April 2022 and it has taken 3 weeks to get going here in Southern England. I do love this little tree, so pleased when I see the leaves first thing in the morning. Just to mention it's synonym 'Watnong', in case anyone is looking at buying either.
5th May 2022 and one of the nicest dissectums in my garden is showing great promise this year. 2021 was not too good, perhaps ot was resting !!.
15th May 2022 and my Baldsmith loving the early sun this morning. This cultivar much talked about this week on the forum. I am surprised it's not so easy to come by in the US.
22nd May 2022 and now in full leaf. This cultivar never looks too heavy compared to other dissectums. Very light and airy look.
9th October 2022 and although not too many leaves after such a difficult Summer, what it has are quite pretty..
Thanks D..The photo doesn’t represent the colour that well..it’s a shocking pink/red.. it’s growing really well..probably nearly 5 foot wide and deep..had it 8 years now..was a mature tree when I received it as a gift for my 40th birthday
If the photo doesn't represent it as well, I can only imagine it's brilliance in real life. Lucky you R.
5th May 2023 and I'm pleased this one got through the heat and drought of last year. It did struggle.
30th April 2024 and my Baldsmith really picking up this year. I did lift and replant in 23 as it was getting too wet.
