   Spring color on Akin's EP in southern Louisiana. Sherwood Akin lived in a small town outside of Shreveport. He named this seedling after his uncle 'EP'. Odd name, but a good tree. The Ruby Mize garden in Nacogdoches ended up with much of his collection.
