Very pretty, thanks Alex. What is the date of the picture? I see 2010, but month would be nice to know. As I post this it is end of January, I wonder if obtusifolium is evergreen for you in Rome? Thanks in advance, -E
Have just received one, a fine looking plant. Very root bound in the pot though, took quite a lot of repotting. How about exposition, I assume it should do well with full sun? -E
hot wind ? max tolerance!this maple like maple discolor is one champion ,very good tolerate clay soil, hot wind, dry conditions, not see any branch with typical damage of species acer like pseudomas or verticillium :-)
I confirm what Alex says. Over here is in morning shade and receives full afternoon (hot) sun. Also takes drought quite well (not surprising knowing its Mediterranean origins) Gomero
