Has anyone had success rooting cappidocicum cuttings? Or ssp. sinicum?

Any advice if so would be appreciated.

P.S. Dirr doesn't mention this species.

Should be easy from root sprouts, which this maple (uniquely?) produces in large numbers. Dig up sprout with a decent section of root.

    Hi Michael,

Yes I agree, and have tried it with 'Aureum'. Offspring haven't been very vigorous. But my situation here is different, actually have one that died back in the cold and re-grew from the root. Now has lots of whips potentially.

    cheers,
