This plant is truely a beauty! It's leaves are medium green with a lighter green irregular shaped marking from stem to tip. The leaves are slightly fuzzy with a burgundy hue and the underside is burgundy. The flower is 3 petaled with a yellow stamin. I believe the plant was originally purchased in PA but has been thriving in FL for about 30 years as both a potted indoor and outdoor plant (no direct sunlight). My friend would be delighted to know what the name is because it belonged to her beloved aunt who has passed away.

Thanks so much for the accurate identification. That was fast! I can't wait to tell my friend about this.
