Identification: 4 ribbed cactus

    I have a 4 ribbed cactus that was given to me 55yrs ago. Never bloomed and always 4 ribs. I have searched online and always found '4 or greater' and not quite the same. The closest was from the San Pablo region which seemed far fetched. Then today a fungi came up that I identify as Leucocoprinus cretaceous which is more common in subtropical environments which Vancouver is not. Here are pics of the cactus and fungi.
